I tried adding the printer on two machines running Ubuntu and it works without a hitch using foo2zjs drivers (I think, maybe one of the mas using hplip). It seems like windows doesn't receive a response from the printer, so it keeps sending the print job until I cancel it and I have to restart the printer too. Finally! I think to myself, but upon printing another test page I find that it's not working as intended. Long story short, after reading a million post on the forums I finally make it work! I add it thru windows, install the drivers and correctly print the test page. I spent many hours reading about how to enable JFFS and Optware on an external drive and how to get my GDI printer to work with the printer server. So I recently decided I wanted to add my printer to my router, since everyone on the house uses its and I my computer isn't always on.
